GT1 NaXi Music

Music is very important in the NaXi way of life. It is a
chief ingredient in all religious rituals, official ceremonies
and folk celebrations. In addition to formal concerts featuring
the LiJiang Ancient DongJing Orchestra, NaXi BaiSha XiYue Orchestra,
or performances by DongBa Priests or folk musicians, the NaXi people
participate in spontaneous choral singing and antiphonal songs during
all festive occasions.
